How We Work

It is always important to get all of the information possible regarding a potential coach or volunteer in order to avoid certain risks and dangers. Before you decide to authorize a new coach or volunteer for your organization, trust Safe Sport Background Check to run a thorough background check. Background checks are essential to protecting the safety and security of youth sports/activities and should always be a first step.

Coaches and Volunteers

You and/or your organization will identify the coach or volunteer and direct them to our web site. From there, the Coach/Volunteer will provide personal information on our secure form that will include their full name, address, date of birth, and social security number. This will be part of our 4-point check system.

Online Payment

Once the information has been submitted, you will be directed to the payment page. Once the payment has been processed, a confirmation email with the order number will be sent. We are able to set up accounts with organizations to secure payments or coach/volunteers can pay directly.

Large Organizations

We have the capability of building accounts and invoicing the organization directly for 25 or more background checks. This saves time and confusion when an organization is updating their employee background checks.

Our background checks will typically take 24-48 hours to be completed.
